Our Neighborhood Watch team regularly attends county Neighborhood Watch meetings and relays important information at our monthly Board meetings.  They also pass along information and alerts that Board members share with the community by email and the Long Beach Facebook page.

Long Beach hosts the National Night Out each August to reinforce the Neighborhood Watch program.  This event has been very successful over the past several years; and the Sheriff’s office tells us it is one of the best National Night Out gatherings in Calvert County.  The volunteer coordinators organize, food, games, tie-dying, raffles, door prizes and music.  It’s a great night out.
